Here’s a sample of the issue’s contents – from Maureen Bowden’s “More Than One Night”:

When everyone aboard the fleet was awake and fully functional Pythagoras addressed them. “Welcome to your new home. This world is fertile. On land it sustains vegetation, insects and animals. Its seas abound with marine life. No intelligent humanoid beings have evolved. You have pledged to establish an agricultural lifestyle that will not repeat the damage that your ancestors inflicted on your home planet. Do not break your pledge. This is your world now. Take care of it and it will take care of you.”

The colonists cheered. Some wept. Many asserted their determination to do no harm to planet Verde. Captain Christopher Owen and Captain Adela Rossi had no illusions about human stupidity but they kept their apprehension to themselves.

We very much hope that you enjoy this fourth issue, and we’re looking forward to the future!
